10 miles on the treadmill at 6.2 (easy) to 6.4 mph (faster than easy), last 1.5 mi at 7 mph (8:34 pace). Total time 1:38:00, avg. 9:48 pace. Wore my old shoes with new orthotics - not too bad. I know I have all summer to work up to the marathon, but when can I start doing long runs at marathon pace or better???
My abs are REALLY sore now. And the chafing. MY GOD THE CHAFING.
