I have over 23 miles to report between October 2 and today. This is not a great accomplishment, but it is one nonetheless. I'm up to 35 minutes on the treadmill every other day, walking and jogging for a 15-minute warmup, running for 15 minutes, and walking a 5-minute cooldown. This is so I can fit into my pants between now and January 2. Maybe later I'll start thinking about racing next season.
Weekly total: 8.1, 8.1 December to date, 622.21 YTD.

Hi Mary, same to you! Not sure - just yesterday I ran on pavement for the first time in about 3 months, but I'm still running about every other day on the treadmill (I have some more mileage to report along with a 2008 re-cap). I'm not sure when I'll race again, but my local club has a January 10K series and I might show up for one just to get the miles in and say hi to people.
