Easy Run Day

3.63 mi in 33:13 (9:09 pace - exactly 4:00:00 marathon pace!). Of course I can run a race faster than that, since I wouldn't have to run on ICE-COVERED SIDEWALKS. I didn't expect them to be clear and dry, but I did expect them to be better than they were. We'll see how the legs and ankles feel tomorrow from running on rough ice; it was like trail running -- slippery, dangerous trail running.

I might have asked you this before, but have you ever used McMillan's calculator?

Yup, you bet. I think that it uses either a VO2max formula or something like the Runner's World training/race pace calculator ("... T2 = T1 x (D2/D1)1.06 where T1 is the given time, D1 is the given distance, D2 is the distance to predict a time for, and T2 is the calculated time for D2.")
