Sunny but still too cold and windy to spend two hours outside, so I had to hit the treadmill for about 90 minutes. I managed 9.76 miles total in 1:40:00, including a 1 mi warmup and 10 minute cool-down. The core workout (8.18 mi) was at easy to moderate pace with some sprints thrown in, and the last 10 minutes were at 7.0 mph (8:34 pace) with a hard run/near sprint over the last minute. I guess I like to bundle my long, easy, tempo and speed workouts all together. (What would Jack Daniels think??) The core 8.18 was at an average 8:48 pace, which is also 3:50:00 marathon pace.
